The city government of Cagayan de Oro will be receiving one unit of thermal ablation medical equipment from Department of Health (DOH) to enhance and support the delivery of essential health services at the J.R. Borja General Hospital (JRBGH).
Through an ordinance, the 21st City Council headed by Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez authorized City Mayor Rolando A. Uy to sign the deed of donation and acceptance (DODA) with the DOH for the purpose.
The medical equipment is intended to support the JRBGH’s basic services, particularly in improving diagnostic and treatment capabilities for the benefit of the constituents.
Vice Mayor Bebot expressed gratitude to the DOH, saying this equipment will enable healthcare providers to deliver more effective treatments and directly impact the health and well-being of the community. (JBD/SP)
