The ₱76.4-million school facility, funded by the Local School Board through the Special Education Fund, is equipped with smart TVs, computer sets, printers, and LCD projectors.
The building also features a comprehensive fire alarm and detection system to ensure the safety of students and teachers.
Councilor Daba, chair of the City Council committee on education, cited that the investment in schools is an investment in the future of the children.
“We are committed to providing educators and students with the resources they need to thrive in an ever-evolving world”, he said.
For his part, Councilor Cabanlas, in his social media post, said the project is a strategic investment that will drive social development and harmony.
He added that the project reflects the local chief executive’s sustained commitment to raising the city’s educational standards, calling it a fitting legacy of the administration for the youth of Cagayan de Oro.
