City Council backs land titling for AFP off-base housing beneficiaries in Brgy. Patag

BENEFICIARIES of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Off-Base Housing Program may soon receive their individual land titles for lots at Camp Evangelista, 4th Infantry Division, Philippine Army in Barangay Patag.
This, after the 21st City Council during its regular session presided over by Presiding Officer Pro Tempore Councilor Roger G. Abaday passed a resolution interposing no objection to the application of Diamond Heights Village Association with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Region 10, for individual titling to the awardees of the program under Presidential Proclamation No. 330.
The identified lot covers a portion of Lot No. 4318, with an area of 300,000 square meters.
Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas, chair of the committee on subdivision, said the council’s decision to interpose no objection allows them to proceed with the documentation and titling process.
The legislation is sponsored by the committees on subdivision, housing development, and landed estate, and on laws and rules both chaired by Councilor Cabanlas. (JBD/SP)
