COUNCILOR Edgar S. Cabanlas, chair of the City Council committee on subdivision and landed estate, personally checked the property in Barangay Balubal for a proposed subdivision site.
The inspection is part of the Development Permit (DP) application of Zion Village Homeowners Association for its Zion Village subdivision covering an area of 40,000 square meters, containing 215 lots/units classified as socialized housing project.
It may be recalled that the association failed to acquire a road right-of-way with the Medalla Milagrosa Homeowners Association.
During the inspection, one of the Zion Association members said they may purchase the land to the barangay road for their access road.
“Mo-sugot ra man sila (private property owner) nga kuhaan ilang property para maka-tap sa dalan nga himoan og access road”, she said.
With this, Councilor Cabanlas favorably recommended the approval of the DP application of the association and referred to the committee on laws and rules for appropriate action. (Text and photo by JBDacer/SP)
