2019 budget of Brgy 8 OKd

BARANGAY No. 8 can now implement its programs and projects lined up for the year.


This, after the 18th City Council during its regular session yesterday presided over by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy adopted a resolution returning to the barangay its ordinance covering its Annual Budget for 2019 with the information that the same is in order and may be given force and effect.


With an estimated income in the amount of P2.5 million, it has earmarked P246,558 representing 20-percent development fund for the rehabilitation of its multi-purpose hall, drainage system, concreting of pathways and livelihood development projects.


Meanwhile, its 10-percent SK Fund in the amount of P253,232 shall be used for socio-cultural and sports development, leadership training/youth camp program and employability skills training.


It shall also fund for urban greening project, anti-drug abuse program and other maintenance and operating expenses.


The legislation was endorsed and reviewed by the committees on barangay affairs and on laws and rules chaired respectively by Councilors Yan Lam S. Lim and Ian Mark Q. Nacaya. (SP/JAO)
