THE East Westbound Terminal and Public Market (EWBTPM) generated P393,060.55 for the period May 7 to 13, 2018.
This is contained in the weekly income report submitted by OIC-EWBTPM Jocelyn Peñalosa to Councilor Ian Mark Nacaya, chair of the City Council committee on economic enterprises.
Out of the amount, P58,110 came from space rentals at the Westbound terminal and P94,714.43 for market spaces. During the week, the fishlanding area yielded an income of P28,140.
Other income of the EWBTPM came from PUJs, RTMI and Super 5, and taxis among others.
It may be recalled that the committee on economic enterprises has been working to find ways to increase income at the EWBTPM and improve the operation of the city’s public markets.
