Goking goes all out for tree planting activity

SUPPORTING all endeavors to protect the eenvironment , Councilor George S. Goking on Wednesday, February 14, took part in the tree-planting activity at Upper Dagong in Barangay Carmen.

The activity was spearheaded by the City Local Environment and Natural Resources Office (CLENRO) as part of its 18th founding anniversary.

The simultaneous planting of 200 trees is in line with the rehabilitation of the old dumpsite as the city’s future eco park, The Power learned.

According to CLENRO, the activity will help ensure that future generations will be able to breathe clean air.

CLENRO adopted the theme, “18 years of loving and nurturing stewards of God’s creations.”
