Sinulom Falls now accessible – Pascual

“TUNGOD sad sa tabang ni Mayor Oscar Moreno, nasemento na gayud ang among dalan gikan sa highway paingon sa among barangay hall, nikonek na pud dayon si Kongresman Klarex Uy paingon na gyud didto sa Sinulom Falls.”

This was the information relayed by Councilor Jay R. Pascual, chairman of the City Council committee on tourism, during the radio program “Ang Konseho Karon: The Mover of Change and City’s Development” aired yesterday.

As clarified by Councilor Pascual, Sinulom Falls is situated between the boundary of Tignapoloan and Talakag, Bukidnon. But since the waterfall’s side is clearly viewed in Tignapoloan, the city can claim and consider the said attraction as its own tourist spot, he cited.

As part of its future development, Sinulom Falls is set to be converted into an agri-tourism resort, a first of its kind in the city, where seminars on duck-raising, bee-keeping, cacao-growing, dragonfruit-growing and the likes, may be conducted.

“Dili lang ni siya sa turismo na side but naa sad sa agriculture side”, the councilor further said.

For this and other projects, the councilor said he is grateful to the administration of Mayor Moreno.

He said the roads in barangay Tignapoloan and other hinterland barangays are now being developed. (JAO)
