Dads thank Sen. Pimentel, Hans-Seidel, EURAC for VM scholarship grant

THE City Council during its regular session Monday adopted a resolution expressing gratitude and appreciation to the Pimentel Institute of Leadership and Governance through former Senate President Aquilino “Nene” Pimentel for nominating Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy to the short course at the EURAC Research Academy-Winter School on Federalism and Governance in Austria last January 30 to February 10, 2017.

Legislators, likewise, expressed gratitude to the Hans-Seidel Foundation for its magnanimity in sponsoring the study of Vice Mayor Uy and to the EURAC Research Academy-Winter School for its magnanimity in approving the study of the vice mayor on federalism and governance at the said academy last January 30, 2017 to February 10, 2017.

The Power learned that participants of the two-week Winter School had interactive workshops and discussions with study visits in Innsbruck and Bolzano/Bolzen, among others.

The resolutions were filed by Vice Mayor Uy and favorably endorsed by the committee on laws and rules chaired by Councilor Ian Mark Q. Nacaya.
