Annual Budget sa SK sa Brgy.17 gioyunan sa Konseho

NAGPADAYON ang Konseho sa Syudad ubos ni Bise Mayor Bebot Rodriguez sa pagsuporta sa mga  programa sa Sangguniang Kabataan sa Barangay 17.

Sa sesyon sa konseho niadtong Lunes, hiniusang giaprobahan ang resolusyon nga gipalabang sa Sangguniang Kabataan sa Barangay 17 nga may kalabotan sa ilang 2025 Annual Budget nga mokabat sa P562,636.00 gikan sa Enero ngadto sa Disyembre alang sa hingpit  nga implementasyon.

Tipik sa  ilang gipundohan ug gigahinan mao ang programa  sa panglawas (health services/ adolescent sexual and reproductive health) programa alang sa edukasyon  (equitable access to quality education), economic empowerment (youth employment and livelihood), Social Inclusion and equity (Gender Sensitivity), Governance (Capability Building and Leadership), Active Citizenship (Capability Building and Leadership) ug Environment (Environmental Protection /Climate Change adaption/DRRR).

Si Konsehal Sacala hugot nga misuporta sa pagpalabang sa maong lakang  tungod kay dako kini og ikatabang  alang sa kaarangan sa kinabuhi sa kabatan-onan sa maong barangay.

Councilor Go hails opening of Tablon City Hospital, cites boost for senior citizens

“MALIPAYON kita nga pormal nga gibuksan ang atong City Hospital sa Barangay Tablon ug andam na kini sa pagserbisyo medikal para sa katawhan.”

This was the message of Councilor Gilda O. Go, chair of the City Council committee on senior citizens, as she welcomed the formal opening of the City Hospital Annex in Barangay Tablon.

The facility, inaugurated last August 26, 2025, initially operates as a Primary Care Center offering outpatient consultations, a minor surgery room, an animal bite treatment center, and pharmacy services. Diagnostic and laboratory facilities are expected to be added in the coming months.

Strategically located in Barangay Tablon, the hospital aims to help decongest major health institutions such as the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) by bringing essential services closer to city residents, particularly those in the city’s eastern barangays.

Councilor Go commended Mayor Rolando A. Uy, Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez, fellow councilors, and the City Health Office for supporting the project. She expressed confidence that the facility will significantly benefit senior citizens, who often encounter difficulties in accessing timely and affordable health care.

“The opening of this hospital is a welcome development for our senior citizens and other vulnerable sectors. This facility is a testament to our shared vision of a healthier, more resilient Cagayan de Oro,” Go stressed, encouraging Kagay-anons to maximize the services now available.

Ipakita ang respeto, sportsmanship - Konsehal Sacala

MAGSADYA, magrespetohay, ug magdula nga adunay integridad!

Kini ang mensahe ni Konsehal Kenneth John Sacala, City SK Federation President ug chairman sa komite sa youth and sports and development sa Konseho, atol  sa pag-abli sa Inter-Agency Sports Festival 2025 alayon sa ika-125 nga pagsaulog sa Philippine Civil Service.

Sumala sa konsehal nga labaw sa  pagka-player, kinahanglan nga ipakita gayud ang panaghiusa, disiplina ug pagsalig  isip mga   kawani sa gobyerno aron makab-ot ang kalampusan sa maong kalihokan.

Gipaambit usab ni Sacala ngadto sa mga magdudula nga gihimo niyang inspirasyon sa iyang pagpangalagad ang pagpatigbabaw sa mithi sa patas nga pagserbisyo.

Niini, siya nanghinaot  nga mahimong magmasadya ang kalihokan ug ipakita kanunay ang respeto ug sportsmanship sa tanan. (JRG/SP)
