HAYAN mapatuman na sa Barangay 19 ang ilang gihan-ay nga mga programa ug proyekto nga gipundohan karong tuiga.

Kini human ang konseho sa syudad sa milabayng sesyon nga gidumala ni Bise Mayor Bebot Rodriguez misagop sa resolusyon nga nag-uli sa ordinansa sa maong barangay diin nasukip ang ilang 2025 Annual Budget nga adunay gibanabanang kinitaan ug galastohon balor P3,794,679.00.

Lakip sa gipundohan mao ang 20 porsyentong (20%) Development Fund balor P502,526.00; samtang P379,468.00 usab ang gigahin alang sa pagpatuman sa mga programa ug proyekto sa Sangguniang Kabataan; P20,000.00 ang gipundo alang pagpalapad sa kampanya sa Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council BADAC; P100,000.00 alang sa installation sa nadaot nga mga street lights; P100,000.00 alang sa rehabilitasyon sa ilang multi-purpose hall ug uban pang mga programa nga gilantawng maghatag og dugang kaarangan sa ilang serbisyo ngadto sa katawhan.

Ang 2025 annual budget sa Barangay 19 miagi sa makuting pagtuon sa mga komite sa konseho ug nasuta nga nahiuyon sa balaod ug mahimo nang ipatuman sa labing dali nga panahon.

CdeO institutionalizes Education Innovation Week

The 21st City Council, in its regular session on Monday, presided over by Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez, enacted an ordinance institutionalizing the celebration of Education Innovation Week in Cagayan de Oro City every third week of November.

The measure establishes a recurring platform for local and national stakeholders to showcase innovative learning technologies, sustainable pedagogies, policy reforms, and inclusive programs aligned with the city’s education development goals and the national learning recovery agenda. It also supports the Safety, Security, and Human Development component of the City Government’s RISE Agenda, which places particular emphasis on education.

According to City Education Development Office Head Richel Petalcurin-Dahay, the week-long event will be the first trifocal celebration in the country involving the Department of Education (DepEd), the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).

It aims to highlight education innovations and collaborative efforts across all sectors, reinforcing Cagayan de Oro’s standing as a premier education hub that promotes partnerships among schools and attracts potential investors. The chosen schedule aligns with international education observances, underscoring the city’s commitment to global learning standards and sustainable educational practices.

Dahay added that institutionalizing the celebration ensures its sustainability and continuity beyond changes in administration. “By enacting it into law, the event becomes a program, not just an ad hoc initiative,” she emphasized.

The ordinance also serves as a policy declaration affirming the city’s dedication to innovation, inclusivity, and lifelong learning, marking a first in the Philippines to integrate the trifocal facets of education—technical-vocational, higher, and basic—through the establishment of an Education Advisory Council.

Cabaring nagpasalamat sa tanang misuporta sa IPs Month celebration

DAKO ang pasalamat ni Konsehal Roberto Cabaring sa tanan  nga misuporta ug nagpaluyo sa mga kalihukan nga giandam nunot sa kasaulugan sa ika-28 nga National Indigenous Peoples (IPs) month nga gipahigayon niadtong Oktubre 24 ning tuig diha sa Misamis Oriental Integrated Sports Complex.

Sa tinuig nga Indigenous Peoples Mandatory Representative (IPMR) address, gipahibalo sa konsehal ang mga kalamposan nga nakab-ot sa IP sector nga dako kaayo og gikatabang sa kinabuhi sa mga lumad sa dakbayan.

Mahinumduman nga ang kasaulogan gisugdan pinaagi sa usa ka ritwal ug gisundan  sa street parade nga gisalmotan  sa 17 ka cultural communities, cultural dance presentation, ug uban pa.
