The 21st City Council has approved Proposed Resolution No. 2026-309, accrediting the Upper Batinay–Macopa Farmer’s Association for membership in local special bodies, during its 33rd Regular Session presided over by Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez. The 21st City Council authorized Mayor Rolando Uy to sign a multi-sector Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) installing trash traps in Bitan-ag Creek to curb waste and improve water quality. The said MOA will involve the Environmental Management Bureau- Regional Office 10 , city government, nine barangays, and private partners.
