YMCA Philippines thanks Go, CdeO chapter for hosting delegation

The Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) of the Philippines thanked Cagayan de Oro City Councilor Gilda “Gigi” O. Go, president of YMCA Cagayan de Oro, for the local chapter’s hospitality and its presentation of community programs during a recent visit by YMCA USA and Deloitte Australia, alongside YMCA Ph OIC-National Program Secretary Ms. Ianne Christine Aquino.

In YMCA Ph’s official Facebook post, they expressed their appreciation to the YMCA CdeO Board of Trustees, led by Go, as well as to General Secretary Rogelyn D. Razon and the chapter’s staff, for welcoming the visiting delegates and sharing the organization’s plans for the community.

The delegation included representatives from YMCA USA and Deloitte Australia: Renata Ferrari, senior director for Global Relations; Trang Troung-Hill, director for Newcomer Engagement and Family Stability, Global Relations and Community Engagement; Jacob Meacham, management consultant; and Rafferty Noble Harker, strategic advisor.

The visit focused on exploring the YMCA’s long-term vision and community impact. YMCA CdeO hosted a lunch for the delegates before bringing them to their campsite in Bukidnon, where the local chapter presented its flagship programs and outlined its plans for the region.

The engagement provided an opportunity for the visiting representatives to learn more about the local YMCA’s initiatives and its direction for community development. (PGU/SP)
