SP thanks heroes of Oro’s Covid Vaccination Program

VICE MAYOR Raineir Joaquin V. Uy and members of the 19th City Council are thanking all frontliners, volunteers and stakeholders who have helped and supported the city’s vaccination program this year.

This, even as the city has been experiencing zero or few cases of Covid-19 for the past weeks .

During its 117th regular session, the City Council also expressed gratitude to all those who supported the National Vaccination Days in the city.

Legislators are thanking Cogon Public Market, Cagayan de Oro College, J.R. Borja General Hospital, Barangays Indahag, Puntod and Balulang, Polymedic General Hospital, Maria-Reyna Xavier University Hospital Incorporated, Capitol University Medical Center, and Madonna and Child Hospital.

QUALIMED, DISTRIPHIL, RELIANCE, Robinsons, Limketkai Center, SM Uptown and SM Downtown and the Bugo, Tablon, Cugman, Kauswagan, Canitoan, Pagatpat Elementary Schools, Carmen West City Central School, and Lapasan National High School.

Councilor Maria Lourdes S. Gaane, chair of the committee on health and health insurance, said the city was able to vaccinate 78,186 people during the program, exceeding its target of 64,900 jabs.
