SP earmark funds for land acquisition payments to lot owners in Brgy Pagalungan

FIVE lot owners whose properties were affected by the road opening in Barangay Pagalungan will soon receive compensation from the city government.

This, after the 20^th City Council, during its regular session Monday, presided over by City Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez, enacted an ordinance appropriating funds for the full payment of claim including documentation and registration expenses.

The ordinance also authorizes City Mayor Rolando A. Uy to sign the corresponding deed of absolute sale for the purpose.

The said ordinance was sponsored by the committees on subdivision and landed estate, and on finance, budget and appropriation chaired by Councilors Edgar S. Cabanlas and Yan Lam S. Lim, respectively. (JBD/SP)
