Goking cmte to review LGRP pact with BLGF

The City Council committee on ways and means chaired by Councilor George S. Goking will convene today to review the draft Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the City Government and the Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF) regarding the implementation of the Local Governance Reform Project (LGRP).

The committee will likewise review and re-evaluate for possible amendments Ordinance No. 10425-2006, which prescribes the revised schedule of fair market value of real properties in the city. Also up for discussion by the committee is the proposed resolution urging business organizations in the city to observe Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the operation of their businesses.

The committee invited city administrator Atty. Roy Hilario P. Raagas, Elvira S. Daradar of BLGF-10, City Treasurer Jasmin T. Maagad, City Legal Officer Atty. Kenneth O. Tamala, Joshua M. Del Bando of City Assessment Department, Ramir M. Balquin of the City Planning and Development Office (CPDO), and City DILG Director Engr. Jane J. Docallos to attend the meeting as resource persons.
