Councilor Desiree Dahino graced the opening of the Kinnect Therapy Center in Barangay Iponan, describing the facility as a meaningful addition to the city’s support system for children with special needs and their families.
Dahino, chairperson of the committee on women and family relations, said the establishment creates greater opportunities for children and their families.
Dahino also lauded Ms. Shanelle O. Haluber, an occupational therapist, and Ading Haluber, a physical therapist, for bringing their professional expertise back to the community and using their skills in the service of fellow Kagay-anons.
The Kinnect Therapy Center aims to provide children with opportunities to develop their skills, improve their functional abilities, and achieve developmental milestones, while providing families with additional support.
Dahino congratulated the Haluber family and expressed hope that the center will become a place of progress and meaningful breakthroughs for children and their families. (JDO/SP)
