Dahino graces Search for Urban Gardening

COUNCILOR Edna M. Dahino, chairman of City Council committee on women and family relations, was the guest speaker during the Search for Urban Gardening held at City Hall two days ago. The activity aimed to encourage residents to grow various plants and vegetables by utilizing flower pots, plastic containers or any other recyclable materials right in their own backyards.

She said through this method, residents will not have to look for or purchase a property to be used in growing vegetables for their consumption or for livelihood.

“Ang kakugi maoy makahatag og dugang kaarangan sa panginabuhi tungod kay dili naman magpalit sa mga gulay kay mahimo naman kining itanom sa mga tugkaran ilabina sa kamahal sa mga utanon karong panahona,” the councilor added.

Councilor Dahino is also set to grace the Women’s Exhibit to be held at the West Concourse of Limketkai Mall on March 8, 2018. (JAO)
