Dads OK budgets of Indahag, F.S. Catanico

THE 18th City Council during its 72nd regular session Monday presided over by City Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy adopted a resolution returning to the Barangay Council of Indahag its Ordinance No. 1, series of 2018.


This will cover its annual budget for calendar year 2018 with an estimated income of P12,207, 181.00 as against expenditures of same amount.


Out of the said allocation, P4,802,779 is intended for Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses (MOOE) while the 20-percent Barangay’s Development Fund is pegged at P2,144,110. The amount of P1,219,418 is reserved for the Sangguniang Kabataan activities pursuant to Sec. 426(b) of RA 7160.


A separate resolution was adopted returning to the Barangay Council of F.S. Catanico its Ordinance No. 0005 series of 2017 covering its annual budget for calendar year 2018 with an estimated income of P3,396,464.


The amount of P874,301.00 is intended for Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses (MOOE). Its 20-percent Barangay’s Development Fund amounts to P506,403.

The barangay has allocated P169,173 for its LDRRMF-Calamity Fund in compliance with Sec. 324 (d) of LGC, as amended by Sec. 21 of RA No. 10121, The Power learned.


These legislations were favorably endorsed by the committees on barangay affairs and on laws and rules, respectively chaired by Councilors Yan Lam Lim and Ian Mark Q. Nacaya. (JAO)
