Finance body to tackle request of CPDO



THE City Council committee on finance, budget and appropriations chaired by Councilor Edna M. Dahino is set to tackle the request of the City Planning and Development Office for the release of P250,000 allocated in its Capital Outlay budget for 30 tables and chairs.


The amount will be used to augment payment of one unit split type airconditioning unit for the Cagayan de Oro Museum & nine pairs of tables and chairs for CPDO.


The committee will also deliberate the resolution requesting the City Mayor, the City Council committees on education and on finance, budget and appropriations respectively chaired by Councilors Suzette M. Daba and Edna M. Dahino, and the City School Division to allocate funds for the construction of additional comfort rooms at the Bulua National High School.


Also to be deliberated is the draft Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on Secondment entered into and by and between the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines-Cagayan de Oro Campus (USTP-CDO) and the City Government. This is in connection with the several engagements of the City Government in the areas of research, community extension and innovations.


Under the agreement, the City is desirous of availing the services of a personnel from USTP-CDO who has a long and proven experience in administrative and managerial work, with ability to plan, program, direct, supervise and coordinate activities, with good written and oral communication skills in English and local dialects, possessing excellent judgment, comprehension and planning activity, judicious and analytical thinking, with positive attitude towards people and abreast with the modern concepts of organizational behavior, among others.


Furthermore, the Secondment shall be for a period of three years effective upon the signing of the Agreement, subject to evaluation of both parties at the end of each year, The Power learned. (JAO)
