Construction of health facilities in Brgys Lumbia, Tablon seen

THROUGH Ordinance No. 13304-2017 and Ordinance No. 13305-2017, the 18th City Council headed by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy during its regular session Monday presided over by Presiding Officer Protempore Zaldy O. Ocon authorized the construction of health facilities in Barangays Tablon and Lumbia, this city.

The legislations were authored by Vice Mayor Uy and Councilors Ocon, Edna Dahino, Jay Pascual, Romeo Calizo, George Goking, Annie Daba and Reuben Daba.

In his letter to the City Council, City Mayor Oscar Moreno said the health facilities will improve the health care delivery system of the city.

The Power learned that the appropriation for said projects have been approved and incorporated in the city’s 2017 budget.

The ordinance was reviewed and favorably endorsed by the committees on health and sanitation and health insurance and on laws and rules chaired by Councilors Maria Lourdes Gaane and Ian Mark Nacaya, respectively. (JBD)
