Tourism, public works asked to look into proposals for devt of CdeO
VICE MAYOR Raineir Joaquin V. Uy tasked the City Council committees on tourism and on public works chaired by Councilors Jay R. Pascual and Zaldy Ocon, respectively, to look into the report of Councilor Ian Mark Nacaya regarding suggestions of the public for the development of the city.
Councilor Nacaya, who chairs the committee on planning and development, said these proposals could help the city invite more tourists and investors.
He said one of the measures suggested was that the city embarks on an underground cable system to replace the unsightly spaghetti wires.
Nacaya said the establishment of a world-class hotline, the opening of recreational parks, and installation of functional traffic lights, among others were also proposed.
He said these suggestions should be considered by the city.
