Goking thanks business sector for extending help to PNP, AFP

COUNCILOR George S. Goking, chair of the City Council committee on trade and commerce expressed his gratitude to the business sector for extending help to the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Philippine Army.

During the recent committee meeting, the councilor said he is pleased about how businessmen are giving their support to the uniformed men who are risking their lives in Marawi City and in maintaining peace and order in the city.

It was learned that in partnership with the Misamis Oriental Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MOFCCCI), the councilor was among those who visited the hospital at Camp Evangelista in Patag where wounded soldiers are recuperating.

Councilor Goking thanked the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) for also responding to the appeal to help the AFP.

He said the PNP and AFP are doing much for the country.

Because of them, we can sleep soundly, Goking stressed.
