GIAPROBAHAN pinaagi sa resolusyon sa konseho sa dakbayan ubos sa liderato ni Bise Mayor Bebot Rodriguez ang P381,152.00 nga budget sa Sangguniang Kabataan sa Barangay 33 aron mapalapad ang mga programa alang sa kabatan-onan.
Gilantaw ang hayag nga ugma sa kabatan-onan sa maong barangay human giaprobahan ang ilang budget aron sa pagpatuman sa programa sa panglawas, edukasyon, peace building and security, economic empowerment, active citizenship, governance ug sa kinahiyahan.
Ang pag-aprobar sa maong budget nagpakita sa lig-on nga suporta sa konseho sa pagpalambo sa sektor sa kabatan-onan.
Dako kining tabang aron mapalapad ang serbisyo, matod ni Konsehal Kenneth John Sacala, chairman sa komite sa youth and sports development, human opisyal nga giaprobahan sa konseho ang tinuig nga SK budget sa nasangpit nga barangay.
Ang resolusyon nga gisagop sa konseho alang sa maong katuyoan gipaluyohan sa komite sa youth ni Konsehal Sacala ug komite sa pamalaod ug reglamento ubos ni Konsehal Edgar Cabanlas. (JRG/SP)

GIHANGYO ni Konsehal Eric Salcedo, chairman sa komite sa public utilities, ang transport sektor ug mga sumasakay sa syudad sa pagsabot, nunot na usab sa paglugway sa laing usa ka bulan sa pagpatuman sa ordinansa sa trapiko sa Dakbayan.
Kini ang pamahayag ni Salcedo atol sa gihimong tigom sa komite niadtong milabayng adlaw diin gihangyo niini ang kooperasyon sa tanang sektor sa katilingban ug pagsabot sa mga pamaagi sa goberno nga mapagaan sa dagan sa trapik ug sa hingpit nga pagpatuman sa Local Public Transport Route Plan (LPTRT) sa syudad.
Sumala ni Konsehal Salcedo nga isip chairman sa maong komite, gilantaw niya ang kaayohan alang sa tanan ug subay sa lagda sa balaod sa syudad.
Dugang sa konsehal nga gikalipay niini ang sugyot nga mag-mugna og Joint Multi-Sectoral Task Force nga gilangkoban sa opisina sa Roads and Traffic Administration, Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board LTFRB-10, transport sector ug mga sumasakay aron tun-an nga makaayo sa goberno ug sa sektor sa tranportasyon ug mga sumasakay.

The stage at the Centrio Ayala Mall Event Center came alive with music as Kanta Ta Bai Season 4 brought together 10 duets from different barangays for the Inter-Barangay Vocal Duet Competition on August 9.
An initiative of Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez in partnership with the Office of Congressman Rufus Rodriguez, the competition provided a platform for local singers to showcase their talent while celebrating the musical culture of Cagayan de Oro.
Kanta Ta Bai has featured a different musical format in each season. It began with a songwriting competition in Season 1, followed by the Inter-Barangay Vocal Solo Competition in Season 2 and the Battle of the Bands in Season 3. For its fourth season, the competition highlighted the voices of duos, putting their harmony, musicality, and stage presence to the test.
Taking the top spot was Barangay Bugo, represented by Anielyn I. Guibone and Aljon Love I. Guibone, who received a trophy and ₱25,000. Barangay 22, represented by Randy Mortes and Irben Cabilao, placed second and received a trophy and ₱19,000, while Barangay Canitoan, represented by Millen Grace A. Bagaporo and Joel D. Gonzales, secured third place with a trophy and ₱13,000.
The seven other competing duets also received ₱7,000 consolation prizes, recognizing the talent and effort they brought to the competition.
As the author of the proposed Original Kagay-anon Music Ordinance and an advocate for kanta , VM Bebot has championed efforts to preserve and showcase the city's musical heritage, empower homegrown artists, and strengthen music as part of Cagayan de Oro's cultural identity.
Through Kanta Ta Bai, local singers continue to find a stage where their talent can be heard, celebrated, and shared with fellow Kagay-anons. (SPE/SP)
