The city government of Cagayan de Oro will soon maintain the road lots, open spaces, and common areas of a subdivision project in Barangay Lumbia.
This, as the 21st City Council during its regular session presided over by Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez has accepted the offer from the Liberty Land Corporation, a subdivision developer to turnover the South Point 1 Subdivision Project.
The ordinance, likewise, authorizes City Mayor Rolando A. Uy to sign the deed of donation, which will facilitate the transfer of the specified lots and areas to the city.
Based on the reports and Certificate of Completion issued by the City Housing and Urban Development Department (CHUDD) and the City Engineer’s Office, the developer has rectified and noted deficiencies, and the existing amenities and facilities are consistent with the approved plans.
The legislation was reviewed and endorsed by the committees on subdivision and on laws and rules chaired by Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas. (JBD/SP)
