Tabac leads call for barangay road clearing ahead of Higalaay Festivities

COUNCILOR Marlo L. Tabac has called on barangay officials to undertake road-clearing operations in their respective areas in compliance with the directive of City Mayor Rolando A. Uy, as part of preparations for the month-long Higalaay Festival celebration.

Tabac, chairperson of the City Council committee on barangay affairs and President of the Liga ng mga Barangay, emphasized the importance of keeping roads and public spaces clear, particularly in barangays within the city center where most of the festival activities will be held.

He urged barangay officials to work closely with their respective communities to help ensure the safe, orderly, and unhampered movement of residents, motorists, and visitors throughout the celebration.

“Pinaagi sa panagtinabangay sa matag barangay, sa City Government, ug sa liderato ni Mayor Rolando "Klarex" Uy, andam kita sa pagsaulog sa kapistahan sa Cagayan de Oro nga organisado, malinawon, limpyo, ug malampuson,” Tabac said in his FB page. (JAO/SP)
