SP Oks DODA with NHA for community facilities in Mambuaya

THROUGH an ordinance, 19th City Council during its regular session Monday presided over by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy authorizing City Mayor Oscar Moreno to enter into and sign the Deed of Donation and Acceptance (DODA) with the National Housing Authority (NHA), covering the latter’s three community facilities.

These facilities are the police outpost, covered court, and Multi-Purpose/Livelihood and Training Center, all located at the NHA-Mambuaya Village Phase 1 in Barangay Mambuaya.

Mayor Moreno said there is a need to execute DODA with the NHA considering that the community facilities are crucial and related to the security, recreational, social and livelihood needs of the beneficiaries at the relocation site.

The committees on subdivision and landed estate and on laws and rules respectively chaired by Councilors Edgar S. Cabanlas and Ian Mark Q. Nacaya endorsed the ordinance.
