SP OKs annual budgets of six brgys
SIX more barangays will be able to implement their programs and projects lined up for this year.
This, after the 19th City Council headed by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy adopted separate resolutions returning to the Barangay Councils of Barangays No. 1, 6, 16, 30, 40, and Gusa, their respective ordinances covering their annual budgets with the information that said ordinances are operative in its entirety.
Barangay No. 1 has an estimated income of P3,670,133, Barangay 6 has P2,915,076, Barangay 16 has a budget of P2,998,688, Barangay 30 has P3,190,652, Barangay 40 has P3,480,907, while the Barangay Gusa has an income of P27,588,460.
These amounts will cover the barangays’ 20-percent Development Fund, five-percent Calamity Fund, basic services such as health and nutrition services, administration and legislative services, and other appropriations such as maintenance and other operating expenditures.
The resolutions were reviewed and endorsed by the committees on barangay affairs and on laws and rules respectively chaired by Councilors Yan Lam Lim and Ian Mark Q. Nacaya.
