THROUGH an ordinance, the 21st City Council headed by Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez has declared a city-owned property in Barangay Pagatpat as the site for the Super Health Center.

This initiative is part of the Department of Health (DOH’s) Health Facility Enhancement Program that targets to expand and enhance health infrastructure across the region.

The property, identified as portion of a lot in Pagatpat, with an area of 4,255 square meters, is also expected to improve access to primary and specialized health services for the residents of said barangay and neighboring areas.

The Super Health Center will offer a wide range of services, including primary healthcare, maternal and child health services, vaccination programs, and various preventive care initiatives.

The ordinance was reviewed and endorsed by the committees on health, nutrition, and health insurance, on subdivision, housing, and landed estate, and on laws and rules chaired by Councilors Paolo Nicolo Gaane and Edgar S. Cabanlas, respectively. (JBD/SP)
