SP backs payment for title transfer of resettlement area in Macasandig

The 21^st City Council enacted an ordinance authorizing the payment for the transfer of 119 certificates of title for a lot in Mandumol, Barangay Macasandig.

The transfer of title is seen as a crucial step in ensuring permanent housing for members and families of the Buena Oro Homeowners Association and affirming their rights to the land.

Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas, chair of the committee on subdivision, housing development, and landed estate, emphasized the importance of securing legal ownership for residents.

“These titles are representing security and sense of community for the families of Buena Oro who have called this area home for many years.

The legislation was reviewed and endorsed by the committee on subdivision, finance and budget appropriation, and laws and rules chaired by Councilors Cabanlas and Yan Lam Lim. (JBD/SP)
