TWO barangays in the city can now continue to implement their plans, programs and projects for the year.

This after the 19th City Council on its regular session Monday presided over by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy adopted separate resolutions returning to the Barangay Councils of Barangays 9 and 26 their ordinances covering their respective Supplemental Budgets for 2021 with the information that the same are operative in their entirety.

Out of its supplemental budget of P 31,168.88, Barangay 9 allocated P1,630,364, representing its 20-percent Development Fund and P2,972,559 for its Sangguniang Kabataan and LDRRMF Calamity Fund, respectively.

Meanwhile, Barangay 26 allocated P117,025 for projects under its Development Fund which shall be taken from its supplemental budget of P304,307.

The legislations were reviewed and endorsed by the committees on barangays and on laws and rules chaired by Councilors Yan Lam S. Lim and Ian Mark Q. Nacaya, respectively.
