Rodriguez joins groundbreaking of two new multipurpose buildings in Cugman

Councilor Jonjon Rodriguez joined 2nd District Congressman Rufus Rodriguez at the groundbreaking ceremony for two new multipurpose buildings that will provide additional space for the Barangay Council, the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK), and various sectoral groups.
The projects form part of the barangay’s efforts to improve its facilities and provide more appropriate spaces for its local offices and community organizations.
The first building has a ₱10-million allocation and will complement the improvement and rehabilitation of the Cugman Barangay Hall.
The second building, with a ₱7-million allocation, will provide space for sectoral groups, including senior citizens, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and the Gender and Development (GAD) sector.
Rodriguez, chairperson of the committee on social services, also expressed support for further improvements in the barangay, particularly the Cugman Barangay Gym, with an additional industrial fan to be provided through the ABAMIN Party-list under Congressman Maxie Rodriguez.
Also present during the ceremony were DPWH 2nd District Engineering Office District Engineer JP Lisondra, Cugman Punong Barangay Malou Aldeguer, members of the Barangay Council, and representatives from various barangay and sectoral groups. (JDO/SP)
