Rodriguez joins groundbreaking of ₱43-million road projects in Agusan



COUNCILOR Jonjon Rodriguez graced the groundbreaking ceremony for two road infrastructure projects worth ₱43 million in Barangay Agusan, alongside 2nd District Congressman Rufus B. Rodriguez and officials of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) 2nd District Engineering Office.
The projects include the ₱10-million concreting of the road at Agusan National High School, with an additional ₱5 million allocation for solar-powered streetlights, and the ₱28.9-million construction of the bypass and diversion road along the Agusan-Balubal area.
Rodriguez welcomed these developments, emphasizing their importance in improving road access, mobility, and safety in the community.
“Better roads mean better access and mobility for our residents, students, and motorists. We are grateful for these projects that respond to the needs of our barangays,” Rodriguez said.
Previously, Rodriguez also attended infrastructure groundbreaking and turnover activities in Barangays Lapasan and Cugman, highlighting his continuing support for infrastructure initiatives that improve connectivity and access in local communities. (JDO/SP)
