Reclassification of lot in San Simon OKd

THE 19th City Council during its regular session presided over by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy enacted an ordinance reclassifying from agricultural to residential the land use of a lot in Barangay San Simon.

The property, which covers an area of 36,123, will be used for the socialized housing project of the city.

CPDO recommended the approval of reclassification of the property while the request for correction of the zoning map is being processed.

The committees on subdivision and landed estate and on laws and rules respectively chaired by Councilors Edgar S. Cabanlas and Ian Mark Q. Nacaya sponsored the ordinance.
