Dahino backs Oro women capability-building activity

COUNCILOR Desiree Ann Dahino reaffirmed her support for women's empowerment during the Capability Building Activity: Oro Women Focus Group Discussion and Policy Formulation held on July 14 at Cronin Cathedral.

In her message, Dahino, chairperson of the committee on women and family relations and co-chair of the City Inter-Agency Committee Against Trafficking and Violence Against Women and Children (CIACAT-VAWC), encouraged women to continue pursuing opportunities for growth, emphasizing that every woman deserves to be heard, empowered, and given the chance to rise above life's challenges.

The program, organized by the City Social Welfare and Development Department (CSWD), gathered 83 members of the Oro Women Association to discuss policy formulation on Online Sexual Abuse or Exploitation of Children (OSAEC) and the drafting of the association's Constitution and By-Laws. (SPE/SP)
