Daba graces Scholars’ Cup 2026

Councilor Moreno Y. Daba IV, chair of the committee on education, joined the official launching of the “Scholars’ Cup 2026,” on April 8, 2026, at the Rio de Oro Boulevard.

Organized by the City Education and Development Office (CEDO), the city-led initiative brought together scholars in a series of sporting events designed to promote not only physical fitness but also leadership, teamwork, and camaraderie.

For Daba, athletics helps shape discipline, resilience, and sense of responsibility among the youth.

He emphasized that beyond competition, the Scholars’ Cup serves as a platform for holistic development, molding scholars into well-rounded individuals who are equipped to contribute meaningfully to the community. 

The month-long activity is set to run through May 2026. (JAO/SP)
