Council oks payment to lot owner

The 20th City Council during its 46th regular session presided over by City Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez, appropriated P10,335,090 for the payment of the lot for the proposed Basketball Court in Barangay No. 18.

The lot has an area of 559 square meters. With this, the members of the City Council, likewise, authorized City Mayor Rolando A. Uy to sign the Deed of Absolute Sale for the said property.

The ordinance was sponsored by the Committees on Subdivision and Landed Estate and Laws and Rules, both chaired by Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas, and Committee on Finance, Budget and Appropriation chaired by Councilor Yan Lam Lim.
