COUNCILOR Jonjon Rodriguez conducted a meeting to review proposed amendments to the Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Ordinance of Cagayan de Oro City to further strengthen its implementation and ensure that government transactions become simpler, faster, and more efficient.

The review of the existing provisions of the ordinance aims to identify possible amendments that will address gaps and improve the city’s EODB system.

The discussion also covered processes involving local government transactions, particularly measures that could streamline procedures, improve coordination among concerned offices, and facilitate the processing of documents and delivery of government services.

Joining Councilor Rodriguez in the meeting were Assistant City Treasurer Glenn Banez, Liga ng mga Barangay President Councilor Marlo Tabac, and Office of the Vice Mayor Legislative Head Roderico Dumaug, Jr.

He authored the measure alongside Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez, with Councilors George Christopher Goking and Marlo Tabac as co-authors.  (JDO/SP)
