Brgy measures shelved pending legal review

The barangay affairs committee chaired by Councilor Marlo L. Tabac deferred eight barangay measures, pending review and comments from the City Legal Office and other concerned offices.

These include the ordinance declaring Domingo Velez Street in Barangay 29 as an emergency pick-up point or evacuation area, ordinance imposing curfew hours for minors in Barangay Bonbon, and three other measures on roads and traffic management and communication system streamlining in Barangay Bugo.

The committee also returned two resolutions from Barangay 17 on responsible pet ownership, noting they do not have real teeth in terms of penalty and enforceability.

The said measures will be calendared in the next discussion on April 29. (FDC/SP)
