Goking cmte to act on RTMI’s bus

THE Deed of Donation between the Rural Transit (Mindanao), Inc. and the city government for one unit aircon bus was endorsed by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy to the committee on ways and means chaired by Councilor George S. Goking for review.

The Power learned that the RTMI in addressing its priority activities towards education, health, youth and sports development and human settlement, among others, particularly in the transportation aspect of such priority activities, is donating the bus as part of its social responsibility.

The bus is valued at P3.6 million.

Assistant City Legal Officer Atty. Reymond Q. Villablanca thoroughly reviewed the documents and said these are in sufficient form and substance. The Deed of Donation is in legal order, he added.(SP)
