Fisherfolk assn accredited in Local Special Bodies

A FISHERFOLK association has been accredited in the city’s Local Special Bodies (LSB).

The City Council during its regular session Monday, August 6, presided over by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy adopted a resolution accrediting the Federation of Coastal Barangay Fisherfolks Association of Cagayan de Oro City (FEDCOBAFAC) for the purpose.

This is pursuant to DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2016-97 and Article 64, Rule XIII of the Rules and Regulations implementing the 1991 Local Government Code, or funding its project from the city or other sources as required under a COA circular.

The committees on agriculture and fisheries and on laws and rules chaired by Councilors Annie Y. Daba and Ian Mark Q. Nacaya endorsed the resolution.
