Dads OK budgets of more brgys

THE 18th City Council during its regular session Monday presided over by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy adopted separate resolutions returning the ordinances covering the 2018 annual budgets of three barangays in the city. Said allocations will enable these barangays to utilize their respective 20-percent Development Funds and implement various projects lined up for the year.

Out of estimated income of Barangay 15 in the amount of P3,298,144, P452,159 is intended for the declogging of canals, completion of day care center, rehabilitation of health center and barangay hall.


Meanwhile, Barangay No. 18 has an income of P2,819,479, as against expenditures of the same amount. The barangay earmarked P393,726 to finance the rehabilitation of barangay hall fixtures and furniture, installation of street lights and declogging of canals.

For its part, Barangay 21 expects an income of P3,153,473 out of which P270,687 will be used for the de-clogging of the drainage at Zones 1 and 2 and installation of its street lighting system, among others.


The legislations were reviewed by the committees on barangay affairs and on laws and rules respectively chaired by Councilors Yan Lam S. Lim and Ian Mark Q. Nacaya. (JAO)
