SP OKs COCPO’s P34.5M budget for 2018

THE Cagayan de Oro City Police Office (COCPO) will have a budget of P34.5 million next year.


This is based on the proposed budget submitted by Mayor Oscar Moreno to the City Council for review.


The proposed budget of the local police office was thoroughly discussed and approved in principle by the 18th City Council headed by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy during budget deliberations presided over by Councilor Teodulfo E. Lao.


The COCPO’s budget includes the procurement of office equipment, handheld radios and closed circuit television.


The amount of P2 million is earmarked for financial incentives to 1,100 policemen assigned in the city.
