Funds for district hospital lot OKd

THE 18th City Council during its 62nd regular session last Monday presided over by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy enacted an ordinance appropriating P1.1 million to be made available for expenses in the procurement of a lot in Barangay Tablon, which was acquired by the city as the site of the proposed District 2 Hospital.

It can be recalled that the City Council enacted Ordinance No. 13262-2017 for the purpose.

The establishment of the district hospital is in line with the intention of the city government to address the medical needs and emergency cases of constituents in the eastern side of the city.

This legislation was reviewed by the committees on finance, budget and appropriations and on laws and rules chaired by Councilors Edna M. Dahino and Ian Mark Q. Nacaya, respectively. (JAO)
