Dads thank Ayala, Eagles for helping city during calamity
THE 18th City Council headed by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy, during its regular session this week, adopted Resolution No. 12576-2017 expressing the city’s sincerest gratitude and appreciation to the Ayala Foundation for its magnanimity and philanthropy in donating P1million for the livelihood of the victims of the flood in the city last January 16, 2017.
Through Resolution No. 12577-2017, legislators also expressed the city’s sincerest gratitude and appreciation to the Fraternal Order of Eagles for providing manpower in cleaning the city in the aftermath of the flood. Councilor Reuben Daba, chair of the City Council committee on social services, is the proponent of the two resolutions.
The City Council also adopted a resolution expressing the city’s gratitude to the business sector for offering their establishments as temporary shelter to those who were stranded and for providing manpower in cleaning the city in the aftermath of the flood.
The legislation was sponsored by Councilor Ian Mark Q. Nacaya. (JBD)
