SP to review ECCG accreditation to LSB

The City Council committee on planning, research and innovation and people’s organization accreditation chaired by Councilor Ian Mark Q. Nacaya is set to discuss the application for accreditation of Batinay Environmental Conservation Communal Garden (ECCG).


Organized in 2020, the Batinay ECCG is a barangay-based association registered with the DOLE whose purpose includes growing fruits and vegetables that will sustain the household needs of its members.


It also aims to establish fishponds, plant trees and encourage the practice and adoption of eco-friendly technologies to protect, conserve and rehabilitate the environment.


Among the services the organization may provide or participate in are: Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), City Local Environment and Natural Resources Office (CLENRO), and Agricultural Productivity Operations (APO) training, The Gavel learned.
