SP mourns demise of El Salvador City Councilor Jigs Rodriguez

The 20th City Council during its regular session, presided over by Presiding Officer Pro Tempore Councilor Romeo V. Calizo, expressed sympathy and condolences to the bereaved family of Honorable Martin Felix “Jigs” T. Rodriguez, City Councilor of El Salvador City, Misamis Oriental, for his sudden death. Councilor Rodriguez, nephew of Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez, passed away last Friday, July 28, 2023, at the age of 33.

In the resolution sponsored by all members of the City Council, they expressed grief for Councilor Rodriguez passing as a great loss to El Salvador City for he was an irreplaceable public servant, a true leader, statesman, a pillar of democracy and an embodiment of a true Christian seldom found in politicians by anchoring his faith on the bedrock of service to his fellowmen.
