SP earmarks funds for leave pay, benefits of city hall employees

SEVERAL city hall employees who retired from government service may now claim their retirement benefits.

Through separate ordinances, the 21^st City Council during its regular session presided over by Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez, appropriated a total ₱901,436 for the the purpose.

These employees were previously assigned at the City Health Office (CHO), City Enterprises Economic Business and Development Administration (CEEBDA), City College of Cagayan de Oro, City Assessors Office, and Oro Youth Development Office.

The legislations were sponsored by the committees on finance, budget and appropriation, and on laws and rules chaired by Councilors Yan Lam Lim and Edgar S. Cabanlas, respectively. (JBDacer/SP)
