SP commends XU top 10 nursing board passers

Through separate resolutions, the 20th City Council headed by City Vice Mayor Jocelyn B. Rodriguez commended the graduates of Xavier-Ateneo de Cagayan University (XU) for ranking in the top 10 of the 2022 Nursing Licensure Examination (NLE).

It was learned that XU once more took the top spot in the November 2022 NLE with a 100% passing rate out of its total 192 examinees. XU also records as a top performing school in the NLE for 13 successive times.

Legislators congratulated XU’s eight graduates who landed in the top 10, namely: Yalany Angela C. Soliva, fourth placer; Tiffany Marie P. De Vera, fifth; Gwyneth Grace C. Porras and Rhea Marie A. Tarife, seventh; Myles Therese L. Arellano, eighth; Casey Angelique B. Ty, ninth; and Emmanuel Lorenzo G. Ebarle and Eve Kathlynn L. Viudor, 10th.

Legislators expressed its gladness of their excellent performance in the NLE, saying the new nurses have given honor and pride to the city.

The two resolutions were sponsored by the committee on education chaired by Councilor Suzette Magtajas-Daba.
