SP backs 6 CSOs for membership in CDC’s Committee on People’s Org

IN its Monday’s regular session, presided by Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez, the 20th City Council adopted separate resolutions accrediting a total of six (6) Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) for purposes of their membership in the Committee on People’s Organization of the City Development Council (CDC), pursuant to Ordinance No. 14334-2022.

The CSOs are Filipino Khanaskohan Rapidosa Martial Arts Association (FKR Philippines); Mosoboso ECCG-Group (Mosoboso Garfish Association); GBIM-10 Guardians Brotherhood Incorporated Mainstream Cagayan de Oro Chapter; Cagayan de Oro Hotel and Restaurant Association (COHARA); Batinay Environmental Conservation Communal Garden (ECCG); and City of Cagayan de Oro Federation of Rural Improvement Club, Inc.

The legislations were reviewed and endorsed by the City Council Committees on Planning, Research and Innovation and People’s Organization Accreditation and on Laws and Rules respectively chaired by Councilors Ian Mark Q. Nacaya and Edgar S. Cabanlas.
